
Dr. Poplyansky received her Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York, graduating with Beta Sigma Kappa honors. She is privileged to have been awarded the Dr. Mark Feder Scholarship for Clinical Excellence in Primary Care and the Eschenbach Award for Excellence in Low Vision. She completed diverse clinical rotations, gaining experience at Woodhull Medical Center, NYC Retina, City Eye MD, as well as completing internships focused on specialty contact lenses and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Poplyansky provides comprehensive, full-scope primary eye care, surgical co-management and emergency eye care. She has experience managing various ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye syndrome and a broad spectrum of anterior and posterior segment conditions.
In 2014, she had the privilege of co-authoring a scholarly publication alongside fellow ophthalmologists entitled Diagnosis of Dry Eye Disease and Emerging Technologies, contributing to advancements in diagnostic methodologies and emerging innovations in the management of dry eye disease.
