Please browse the brief explanations of our services below, and for more information you can visit our services page.

Eye Examinations

At Associates in Ophthalmology we offer comprehensive ocular exams for our clients. Effective, routine exams are important for both visual clarity as well as early detection in a variety of eye diseases like glaucoma, or cataracts. For this reason, even if you notice no changes in your visual clarity, we recommend that patients still come in for an eye exam every 1-2 years.

If you're looking for an optician in Livingston and require glasses or contact lenses, our optical shop has variety of contact lens and glasses frame styles for you to choose from. One of our eye care specialists would be happy to help you select a style that is perfectly suited for your lifestyle needs and facial features.

LASIK

LASIK is an incredibly popular corrective surgery that can effectively reduce or eliminate your dependency on glasses and contact lenses. Our LASIK surgeon, Dr. Andrew Miller, has performed thousands of LASIK and laser eye surgery operations during his 10 years in practice. If you are interested in this amazing, life changing procedure, Dr. Miller would be happy to sit with you and answer any questions you may have about LASIK.

Cataract Surgery

The formation of cataracts is a common result of aging, and will affect many people over the age of 55. There is no pain associated with cataracts, however patients typically notice blurry/hazy vision, spotty vision, or sensitivity to glare.

At Associates in ophthalmology we offer cataract lens replacement surgery, where we will remove the cataract, and insert an artificial lens in its place. Cataract surgery is very safe, and is in fact the most common surgical procedure in the United States.

For more information on this incredibly safe, effective surgery, give us a call! We’d be happy to answer all of your questions, and determine your eligibility.

If you’re interested in any of our services mentioned above, please don’t hesitate to give us a call! We’d be happy to meet with you, and discuss how Associates in Ophthalmology can help you meet your vision goals!

We look forward to meeting you!
