COVID-19 Update

We are back to regular office hours!

After much deliberation and discussion with staff and colleagues, we are very happy to let our patient community know that we have resumed our regular office hours.

We will be operating under the below hours for both the office and optical boutique:

Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm

Our number one priority is always the safety of our patients and staff, therefore we have gone through great lengths and taken extra precautions to ensure your safety. In addition to following guidelines from the CDC, we have installed plastic shields that have been placed at both the front desk and in the optical shop, all staff will not only be wearing masks and gloves but will have additional face shields, and there have also been shields fitted to the doctors’ slit lamps in all of our exam rooms. In addition, all equipment will be sanitized after EVERY patient.

To promote the safety of our patients and staff, we have implemented several new office guidelines:

• ALL persons who come into the office must be wearing a mask or other appropriate facial covering in accordance to the CDC guidelines.
• We ask that patients please come alone, or if needed, with only ONE additional person.
• All paperwork must be completed online or via email.
• Please call to reschedule your appointment if you experience any fever, chills, cough, sore throat, body aches, or shortness of breath within three (3) days of your appointment – please DO NOT come to your appointment.

In order to maintain safe social distancing our waiting room has been rearranged accordingly. As we will be limiting the number of patients coming in, we may ask that you wait in your car if the waiting room is full, and we will call you when we are ready for you.

As excited as we are to begin gradually re-opening our doors to patients, we do still encourage the use of our telehealth services. All that is required is a smartphone with video capabilities, so should you have any concerns that do not require in-person care, please call us and we will happily set up a visit for you!

Our hope is that we can continue providing the highest quality of care that our patients both expect and deserve, while also making sure they are comfortable and safe. We sincerely hope that all of our patients and their families are staying safe and healthy during these anxious and uncertain times. We are all in this together, and together we will make it through!
